Dr. A. Pantos joined Regulon in June of 2005. He brings his prior expertise in organic synthesis, synthesis and characterization of supramolecular materials including functional liposomes and dendrimers and inorganic synthesis including platinum complexes with dendrimers.
Prior to joining the team, Alex was a research Chemist at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, NCSR “Demokritos” in the Program "Excellence in the Research Institutes supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, Ministry of Development, GSRT, 3.3.1, Advanced Functional Materials" . Alex graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Athens, Department of Chemistry, Greece. His scientific training includes a M.Sc. in polymer science from the University of Athens, Department of Chemistry and a Ph.D. in supramolecular chemistry from the same University, in conjunction with the Laboratory of "Nanomaterials of Organized Supramolecular Structure" at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, NCSR “Demokritos”. Alexis is author of publications in scientific, peer- reviewed, journals.
